1st November 1871 Church Consecrated by Right Reverend Doctor Megee, Lord Bishop of Peterborough
6th June 1877 Sunday School rooms completed in Noble Street
6th November 1881 First Stained glass window erected in the Baptistery
13th June 1893 The vicarage was completed
13th April 1899 The two new large school rooms at the corner of Nobel Street and Dannett Street were opened

Tower re-pointed and re-roofed
June 1971 Restoration work completed to the east and west ends of the Church.
January 1974 Church House rewired at a cost of £600 and then revalued by Snow and Astill at £21,000.
April 1980 Memorial Garden dedicated.
April 1982 PCC received £3,400 from the Leicester City Council for the compulsory purchase of the Church land on the point to enable widening of the Fosse Road.
1984 The PCC agreed to apply for an Inner Area grant for renovations to Church House.  The initial grant was for 100% funding and an allocation of £45,000 was expected.
1986 The boilers in both Church House and the Church were transferred from oil to gas.
September 1987 Inner Grant was agreed for the restoration of Church House at a cost of £93,000.  Work was carried out and completed in that year.
April 1993 A seven year lease was signed between St Paul's Management Committee and The Leicester Area Health Authority for Care In the Community for office space upstairs in the Community Centre.

Leicester City Challenge agreed to build a Pocket Park between the Church and the Community Centre at a cost of £85,000.

1996 Fr Sealy retired after 22 years faithful service to the Church and the Community.
April 2000 Dry rot found in the church timbers full extent of the repairs to
cost £250,000
August 2000
Plans in place to move into the worship centre in the community
centre
December 2000 Worship centre blessed by the Bishop of Leicester and work is still continuing
October 2003 Church officially declared redundant
